...Dangerous Wind Chill Values of -40 F or lower for Sunday
night...

Tonight, a disturbance dropping south along the coast will bring
a reinforcing blast of cold air to the region. This may create
dangerous wind chills of -30 to -40 F, especially in the Lower
Kuskokwim Valley.

Sunday night, a increasing northeast wind will add even colder
air to much of the region sending the wind chill value to -40 F
or lower.

...Cold Over Interior Alaska for the Coming Week...

A cold front that moved east of Fairbanks on Friday has moved to
the Alcan Border today, bringing a much colder airmass to the
Interior. Temperatures from Fairbanks east will gradually drop to
20 below on Sunday. Temperatures are expected to remain in the 15
to 30 below range in the Fairbanks area through most of next week
with mostly cloudy skies.

West of Nenana, where skies have cleared out, temperatures will
fall into the 30s below tonight, and then remain between 20 and
40 below through most of next week.
